How do I get to the hotel by public transport?

Transport from Vaclav Havel Airport to the Hotel

Take trolleybus 59 to Nádraží Veleslavín (the green metro A line). Take the metro towards Depo Hostivař and get off at Muzeum. Go to the tram stop, take tram 11 and get off at Bruselská. The hotel is about 100 metres from the stop in the direction of your journey. 


From the airport it will take you approximately 50 minutes to get to the Hotel Galileo Prague by public transport. Buy the ticket that is valid for 90 minutes. 


Transport from the Main Train Station to the Hotel

Take the metro towards Háje and get off at Muzeum. Go to the tram stop, take tram 11 and get off at Bruselská. The hotel is located about 100 metres from the tram stop in the direction of your journey.


From the Main Train Station it will take you approximately 10 minutes to get to the Hotel Galileo Prague by public transport. Buy the ticket that is valid for 30 minutes.


Is smoking allowed in the hotel?

No, all the Hotel Galileo Prague premises are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in the hotel garden or in the street. 

Is there on-site parking available?

The Hotel Galileo Prague does not have its own parking lot. We will be happy to recommend other parking options near the hotel. If interested please contact us at info@hotelgalileoprague.com or +420 222 500 129.

Is there an ATM in the hotel?

Yes, there is. Do you need an ATM operated by a specific bank? Our receptionists will be happy to give you directions.

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?

Yes, it is. The Hotel Galileo Prague offers wheelchair accessible rooms. To book such a room, please contact us at info@hotelgalileoprague.com

Are pets allowed in your hotel?

All our rooms are anti-allergic and this is why pets are not allowed to stay here.

Are the rooms anti-allergic?

Yes, they are. They are thus suitable for people allergic to dust, mites, pollen or animal fur. All rooms are fitted with top-quality Italian floor tiling, without carpets or rugs.

Is there a vegetarian breakfast option?

Yes, our breakfast offer includes vegetarian options, too, and we will also be happy to provide you with gluten-free options. A buffet-style breakfast is served every morning between 7 am and 10 am and it is included in the room price. 

Is there a lobby bar in the hotel?

Yes, the lobby bar is on the ground floor and it is open every day between 10 am and 10 pm. You can make yourself comfortable in a cosy leather armchair or at a stylish table. We offer coffee and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as small snacks.

Where do I get public transport tickets?

We will be happy to help you with your purchase at the reception desk. All the tickets are valid for buses, trams and the underground.


You can choose from tickets valid for 30 minutes, 90 minutes, 24 hours or 72 hours. There are special tickets for the cable car to go up Petřín Hill and these can be bought at the vending machines at the cable car stop.
